United Federation of Churches, LLC d/b/a "The Satanic Temple" filed a state-level lawsuit in King County Superior Court against four former members of TST's Washington State chapter with claims relating to the Facebook page "Evergreen Memes for Queer Satanic Fiends". The lawsuit was filed simultaneous to The Satanic Temple appealing the same claims rejected from federal district court in [[United Federation of Churches LLC v. Johnson et al]]. 

The King County Superior Court case was stayed while TST's appeal of its failed district court case progressed through the Ninth Circuit, but following the partial affirmation and then final dismissal of that case, the state court case resumed Feb. 14, 2024. 

On Sep. 24, 2024, King County Superior Court Judge Suzanne R. Parisien dismissed all claims by The Satanic Temple against the former members with prejudice, meaning the claims could not be revived at that level;  Parisien's order further stated that "Plaintiff United Federation of Churches has no rights to or interest in the Memes Page and that Defendants may lawfully use the Memes Page."
