Scottsdale Lawsuit

In February of 2018, TST filed a lawsuit against the City of Scottsdale, AZ, for religious discrimination.

The City of Scottsdale denied the request of local satanists to give the invocation before a city council meeting. The Arizona chapter of TST was established at that time. The original Chapter Heads of the chapter were Michelle Shortt and Stu DeHaan (the plaintiff and lawyer, respectively).

At this time, the case has been dismissed by US District Court, Arizona.
